Trump just doesn't care. He doesn't care about food costs. He doesn't care about healthcare being a zillion dollars. He doesn't care that his self imposed tariffs are sending prices up for everything.

He cares about a ballroom. He cares about his name on the Kennedy Center. He cares about grifts and kickbacks and a $400 million airplanes.

People in the Pentagon and in our military know Kegsbreath is jackass poser and have been calling him "No Tab Pete".

I've posted this before, Pete Hegseth is lazy and didn't do the work his peers in the military did to earn their tabs, but he wants the glory of being in that group.
People in the military see this and don't respect him.

He is firing people who are much more qualified both experience wise and accomplishment wise and they see that, too.
 
Comparing Hegseth to military greats is like comparing Trump to Lincoln, FDR and Obama.

Poking small holes in the wide ranging criticism he's getting seems kind of pointless. He's an unqualified POS. That's the bird's eye view, and it's not gonna change.

There are probably plenty of debatable disagreements to get into but I don't think this is one of them.

I just watched a good video on Nimitz.

Kegs breath would never have selected him. Or Ike. They were too logical and thoughtful.

We were so lucky that capable, well-rounded leaders were selected then.
